Trim Levels (Exterior)
The 2025 Terrain Elevation trim offers a two-tone roof for added style, and has LED headlamps and taillamps providing excellent visibility and contribute to the modern appearance. The optional sunroof brings natural light into the cabin. Practical features include Rainsense wipers and offered heated wiper park and AutoSense Power Liftgate, add convenience. The Black Edition offers 19-inch, high gloss black aluminum wheels that complement its darkened grille and black exterior accents.
Engine (Power)
The Terrain has a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine producing 175 horsepower. Torque output depends on the drivetrain type. All-wheel-drive models produce 203 pound-feet of torque, and front-wheel-drive variants offer 184 pound-feet of torque. The transmission options align with the drivetrain choice. AWD models use an eight-speed automatic transmission, while FWD versions come with a continuously variable transmission for smooth power delivery.
Performance
The 2025 Terrain accelerates swiftly and has ample capability. With available all-wheel drive and Hill Descent Control, you can confidently tackle off-road terrain as well as everyday commutes. There is also drive mode selector with different modes like Normal and Snow to assist with your driving needs.
Interior
The cabin features a modern interior centered around a 15-inch touchscreen and 11-inch digital gauge cluster. Heated front seats and steering wheel are standard, while ventilated front seats and heated rear outboard seats are available. The Terrain offers flexible cargo solutions with 60/40-split folding rear seats. You can choose from After Dark and Gideon Gray interior colors.
Safety Features
The 2025 Terrain has comprehensive safety technology, including enhanced automatic emergency braking, front pedestrian and bicyclist braking, and intersection automatic emergency braking. The system also features rear cross-traffic and reverse automatic braking. Driver assistance features include side bicyclist alert, blind zone steering assist, and adaptive cruise control. A High Definition Rear Vision Camera comes standard as well.
