My car was in the shop for 2 months the communication and updates weren't very good. It is very difficult to get ahold of the service department and in the beginning often times didn't get calls back. I was not informed of additional charges that warranty wasn't going to cover. Everytime I called i asked for a total and everytime I got a different amount sometimes saying I owe only the deductible to owing around 1400. So I planned on 1400 being the total. When it was time to pick up it was 1800 because there were additional work not covered that I was never told and I believed I had to authorize the charge. I went ahead and paid it. But in the end the communication was not good and I'm not sure I would want to bring my car back. Total bill was 18k and wasn't happy with communication. Also car was returned really dirty even on the inside. Had to pay money to get it detailed my advice is to clean up the mess from the worker before returning car like a simple vacuum and wipe down.

The 2025 Sierra 2500 HD AT4X vehicle purchase that we made was one of the best experiences we've ever had, and that dates back to 1972. Everyone at Wilson GMC that we met made our experience great. As for General Motors though, I find it hard to believe that all they can provide to their customer is a small "Essential Operating and Safety Information" booklet. They DO produce a full 400 plus page owners manual that DID NOT come with our truck. As expensive as this truck was, it seems reasonable to expect a full owners manual for the vehicle. What the heck is up with GM?

I dropped my truck off November 5th, 2025 to be serviced, front end alignment, back up camera fixed/replaced and a general checkup. I had to call multiple times that afternoon to just get a general update on what the plan was going to be. During that initial conversation I told Phillip that anything $3000.00 and under to go ahead with, and if it was going to be over that rough amount, just give me call and let me know. Over the next 20 days, I was called only 1 time by the service department to get an update on my vehicle, and that was after leaving them numerous messages and attempting to talk to any living person that could give me an update on my vehicle. I would try to call and check in at least once every 3-4 days on my truck to try and get an update, but I would always have to leave a message that never got returned. I was promised by Phillip that he would call me the Friday before the weekend of November 22nd-23rd to let me know if my truck was done or if it needed to say over the weekend. Apparently, the incorrect part for the back up camera harness had been ordered and they had to order a new one which would take another 2-3 business days. None of this information was relayed to me on Friday, November 21st even though I called 3 times and left 3 messages. So I went into the second weekend with no information and still no truck. On the afternoon of Monday, November 24th, I told the secretary who answered the phone how desperate I was to speak to anyone who knew anything about the status of my truck after calling 3 times and leaving messages with the service department that morning with no response. The service manager told me at this time the wrong part for my backup camera had been ordered and it was supposed to be in Tuesday, the 25th and I could pick up my truck that evening. When I came by Tuesday evening (20 days after dropping it off) after hours to pick up my truck, the invoice ended up being $4012.62 which was never relayed nor confirmed with me. With all of this being said, I would have been completely okay with everything that happened above if someone would have just been able to communicate with me. A phone call with a status update at least once or twice a week would have been great. Returning my phone call at least once without me having to seek out the service manager or anyone that could give me an update on my vehicle after days of not hearing from anyone would have been great. I really enjoy driving my GMC truck and I was hoping that I could purchase vehicles in the future from Wilson GMC as my father in law Chris Dizmang did this past September. But after this service experience, I can guarantee you that I will never buy a GMC vehicle from Wilson because you don't have a service department that I can rely on or take care of me. After this service appointment, the parking sensors on my truck are not functioning correctly and my truck randomly honks on its own now while I'm driving it. I am desperately looking for someone in Stillwater that can take care of my GMC vehicles because I can't fathom going through this experience again. I run my own business and we are also VERY BUSY. I could not fathom, however, treating my clients the way I was treated. I am not writing this review to be hateful or ugly in the least bit, and I definitely will not go online publicly and leave you a bad review because I don't think that would be fair. I just don't know how anyone would be okay with being treated how I was and how disappointed I am that I won't be able to do business with you in the future.
